Repaving Daytona... Better Racing or Destroying a Great Thing?

Daytona International Speedway will receive its first repaving in over 30 years later this summer, following the Coke Zero 400 in early July.

Given all the problems with the track in this year's season-opening Daytona 500, repaving couldn't come at a better time... or could it? On the flip-side, any time a track is repaved, it typically takes several races before it "comes in."

So our debate to you is: Repaving Daytona... Progress or Destruction of one more tradition?
